What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Most data collected is in the form of anonymous cookies and does not contain personally identifiable data except that entered by users via site forms and commenting.
Comments
Our website uses wpDiscuz, a WordPress comment plugin, to enhance the commenting experience. When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you have a profile image associated with your email. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy.
wpDiscuz may also use cookies to remember your comment details (name, email, website) for convenience, so you don’t have to re-enter them on future visits. These cookies typically last for one year.
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to help us recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically. You may request deletion of your comment data at any time.
Spam Prevention
We use Akismet, an anti-spam service provided by Automattic, to protect our site from spam comments and form submissions. When visitors leave comments or submit forms, Akismet may collect data such as your IP address, user agent, referrer URL, and the content of the comment or form. This data is used solely for spam detection and is not stored indefinitely.
Akismet processes this data on servers located in the United States. For more information, please see Akismet’s Privacy Policy and Data Processing Details.
Contact forms
Our website uses Ninja Forms to collect information submitted through contact forms. When you fill out a form, we may collect personal data such as your name, email address, and any message content you provide. This data is stored securely within our website database and may be used to respond to inquiries, deliver requested resources, or manage client relationships.
Ninja Forms does not share your data with third parties, but it may store submission data depending on how the form is configured. We retain form submissions indefinitely unless you request deletion. You may request access to or deletion of your submitted data at any time.
For more information on Ninja Forms’ privacy practices, please visit Ninja Forms’ Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance Guide.
Popups and Cookies
We use Poptin to display popups and forms on our website. Poptin may set cookies in your browser to track interactions with these popups, such as whether you’ve seen or closed a popup, or submitted a form. These cookies do not store personally identifiable information but may collect behavioral data such as pages visited, links clicked, and browser type. This data helps us improve your experience and personalize content. For more information, please visit Poptin’s Privacy Policy.
Registered Users (Members)
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Active Third Parties
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Off-Site Third Parties
If you choose to click a third party link on this site that leads to another website outside of TotallyWitchin.com, please view their privacy policy for their use of your personal data and collection of analytical and demographic information. Light Path Wisdom, LLC cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices of other websites or services.

Facebook Pixel Tracking
Our website uses the Facebook Pixel (Meta Pixel) to track visitor behavior and improve the relevance of our advertising. This tool may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interactions with our site. If you consent to marketing cookies, this data may be shared with Meta to help us deliver personalized ads and measure campaign performance. You can manage your ad preferences or opt out of targeted advertising through your Facebook account settings or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings. Analytics Tools
We do not store analytics data on our own servers.
We use third-party analytics services including Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, and occasionally Slimstat Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. These tools collect data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interaction patterns (e.g., clicks, scrolls, session duration).
This data is not stored on our website but is transmitted to and processed by these providers to help us improve site performance, user experience, and marketing effectiveness.
- Microsoft Clarity uses heatmaps and session recordings. Learn more in Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
- Google Analytics uses cookies and may transfer data to the U.S. under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Slimstat Analytics may store anonymized visitor data locally or externally, depending on configuration. See Slimstat’s Privacy Policy.
When enabled, we may also use Jetpack Site Stats, a module provided by Automattic, to track page views, outbound clicks, and search terms. Jetpack may collect visitor IP addresses and browser details, which are processed by Automattic and retained for 28 days.
You can opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings or using tools like the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Social Sharing (when you share our content):
When official sharing buttons are active on the site, each button loads content directly from its service in order to display the button as well as information and tools for the sharing party. As a result, each service can in turn collect information about the sharing party. When a non-official Facebook or a Pinterest sharing button is active on the site, information such as the sharing party’s IP address as well as the page URL will be available for each service, so sharing counts can be displayed next to the button. When sharing content via email (this option is only available if Akismet is active on the site), the following information is used: sharing party’s name and email address (if the user is logged in, this information will be pulled directly from their account), IP address (for spam checking), user agent (for spam checking), and email body/content. This content will be sent to Akismet (also owned by Automattic) so that a spam check can be performed. Additionally, if reCAPTCHA (by Google) is enabled by the site owner, the sharing party’s IP address will be shared with that service. You can find Google’s privacy policy here.
