How to Reduce Sensory Overload for Empaths and Hypersensitive People

This video provides a quick and easy energy exercise that can help you to reduce agitation from overstimulation and sensory overload. Each step in this short solution is covered in detail to help you learn to visualize the process and move your energy safely and effectively.

In this video, I mention that the process works immediately for me, but I move energy every day and have been doing it for decades, so I am adept at manipulating my energy effectively. If you are not practiced in this art, you may not have the same level of results right out of the gate.

And if overstimulation is a frequent occurrence for you, I highly recommend that you practice this exercise while you are not already in sensory overload. Rather, make this practice part of your daily routine every morning before you start interacting with others or venture out into the world.

Doing so will help you to set a new homeostasis for yourself that over time will leave you less vulnerable to overstimulation. Plus, the more you practice, the better you will get at it. You will start to feel the steps instead of thinking about them.

So don’t give up after one try. This is an energy practice and it will take practice to learn.

Even after you start getting results, continue the ritual for several more weeks so that you can establish a new normal with healthy energetic boundaries.

At some point after that, you can experiment to see if you still need the ritual daily, or if you can stop and only use it as needed. But by then you should see a difference and hopefully you will find that you are overstimulated much less frequently.
